SACCOS ADMINISTRATOR (1 POSITION) @ IDEON BUSINESS OUTSOURCING SOLUTIONS
IDEON Business Outsourcing Solutions is seeking a dedicated SACCOS Administrator to manage the daily administrative and financial operations of a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth functioning of the cooperative by maintaining accurate member records, processing transactions, and providing exceptional service to all members. The administrator will be the face of the organization, handling inquiries and ensuring that all activities align with the cooperative's bylaws and strategic goals. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial empowerment of the community through efficient management of resources and member services. This position requires a balance of technical accounting skills and strong interpersonal abilities to foster trust within the membership base. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial reports, facilitating loan disbursements, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner. Professionalism and a high degree of integrity are essential for this role to maintain the reputation and financial stability of the SACCOS.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience in SACCOS/Microfinance operations is an added advantage
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organizational and record management abilities
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to prepare and present accurate financial and operational reports
In-depth knowledge of cooperative laws and regulatory frameworks in Tanzania
Experience in managing member savings, deposits, and loan portfolios
Capability to organize and coordinate board meetings and annual general meetings
Proactive problem-solving skills to address member concerns efficiently
