FULL STACK DEVELOPERS @ ICORETECH
iCoreTech is seeking immediately available Full Stack Developers to join our team for contract and project-based opportunities across South Africa. We are looking for versatile professionals who are comfortable working with a variety of modern programming languages and architecture patterns. Our environment is dynamic and requires individuals who can adapt quickly to different stacks, although we have a preference for expertise in Java with Spring Boot, Python, Go, or Rust. Successful candidates will play a key role in developing and maintaining enterprise applications, primarily within the banking and financial services sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust backend services using microservices architecture and creating responsive web interfaces using Angular. You will integrate APIs and leverage cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, while managing data across SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases. We are specifically looking for candidates based in or willing to work in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Due to the nature of these roles, we require South African citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with valid work permits who are ready to start on short notice.
Key Requirements
Strong experience in modern backend technologies including Java or Python.
Strong experience in modern frontend technologies, specifically Angular.
Ability to work with Microservices architecture and API design.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with relational databases like SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Previous experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Capacity to work on enterprise-level application development.
Must be a South African Citizen, PR Holder, or have a valid Work Permit.
Immediate availability or the ability to join on very short notice.
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
Strong problem-solving skills and architectural understanding.
