GENERAL COST CONTROLLER @ IBIS HOTELS
Ibis Hotels is recruiting a General Cost Controller to manage and optimize our financial health in Lagos. The primary focus of this role is to monitor and control all hotel costs, with a specific emphasis on food, beverage, and general inventory. You will work closely with the procurement and operations teams to minimize waste and ensure that all operational costs align with the budget.
You will be expected to produce detailed reports and analysis using Material Control Software, providing insights that drive strategic financial decisions. This position requires a professional who is meticulous with data and has a deep understanding of internal control systems within the hospitality industry. Key Requirements
Must be proficient in Material Control Software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in financial reporting and auditing
Expertise in inventory control and waste management
Solid understanding of accounting principles in hospitality
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Ability to implement and monitor internal control systems
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in cost-saving strategy development
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
