This is an exciting opportunity for a Cloud & Virtualization Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure and Red Hat OpenShift to join a prestigious Government Healthcare Entity in Dubai, UAE. The role involves a 2-year contract and requires immediate availability for candidates currently residing in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing complex cloud infrastructures, ensuring high availability and robust performance for critical healthcare services.
The engineer will take ownership of the full lifecycle of Azure services, including VMs, storage, backup, and networking components such as VNet and Firewalls. Beyond standard administration, the role focuses heavily on containerization and orchestration through OpenShift clusters. You will be expected to provide L3 level support, manage upgrades, and implement security governance via RBAC and MFA. Key Requirements
5+ years in cloud / infrastructure engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift cluster management
Strong proficiency in Azure networking, identity, and governance
Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Terraform
Robust troubleshooting and monitoring skills using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana
Experience working in managed services or SLA-driven environments
Ability to implement security and governance measures such as RBAC, MFA, and Key Vault
Knowledge of ITIL processes to provide effective L3 technical support
Experience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives within large organizations
