SENIOR TECHNICAL ENGINEER - SOLAR @ HSD-MELT
The Senior Technical Engineer - Solar will be responsible for leading the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance of Solar PV plants, inverters, and battery storage systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance through the operation of SCADA and remote monitoring platforms, analyzing system data to identify inefficiencies, and executing commissioning protocols for various energy projects.
In addition to technical maintenance, the role involves conducting comprehensive site assessments and providing engineering support, including PV and BESS system design using AutoCAD tools. You will be expected to produce detailed technical reports, manage energy monitoring systems, and maintain strict HSSE compliance. Collaboration with international engineering teams, suppliers, and clients is essential to uphold industry regulations and local requirements in the renewable energy sector.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5+ years' experience in engineering roles within renewable energy
Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of Solar PV plants and battery storage
Operate SCADA and remote monitoring platforms for data analysis
Develop and execute commissioning protocols and manage energy monitoring systems
Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments for new projects
Support PV and BESS system design using AutoCAD
Produce detailed technical reports and maintenance logs
Liaise with international engineering teams, suppliers, and clients
Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and HSSE regulations
