SENIOR SITE ENGINEER – CNG INFRASTRUCTURE @ HSD-MELT
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer specializing in CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Infrastructure to lead our technical operations in Tanzania. This role involves the high-level supervision of infrastructure development, focusing on the installation and maintenance of CNG facilities. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all structural and mechanical components meet the required engineering standards and safety specifications.
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will manage onsite technical teams and subcontractors, ensuring that project timelines and budgets are strictly followed. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact on-site, troubleshooting complex engineering challenges and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest quality. This role is critical in supporting the expansion of sustainable energy infrastructure within the region.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Professional registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) in Tanzania.
At least 7 years of site engineering experience, with a focus on gas or energy infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of high-pressure gas system design and installation standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes on-site.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving site-based technical issues.
Experience in budget management and procurement for engineering materials.
Strong leadership abilities to oversee multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
