OPERATIONS MANAGER – OIL & GAS @ HSD-MELT
HSD-Melt is hiring an Operations Manager to oversee our Oil & Gas operations in Tanzania. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and safety of all operational activities, coordinating between various departments to optimize workflows. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing resources, equipment, and personnel to meet project requirements.
You will monitor operational performance against KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards is a critical component of this role, alongside managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business
Minimum of 8 years of operational experience in Oil & Gas
In-depth knowledge of industry-standard safety protocols
Expertise in logistics and supply chain management
Proven strategic leadership and organizational skills
Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience managing vendors and subcontractors
Commitment to high health, safety, and environmental standards
