NIGHT AUDITOR @ HSD-MELT
HSD-Melt, a leader in human resource solutions for the hospitality industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Auditor to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, focusing on accurate financial reconciliation and exceptional guest service. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, managing guest inquiries, and performing essential accounting tasks to prepare for the next business day. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of the hotel, reconciling daily transactions, and generating reports. You will also be the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift, addressing any concerns and ensuring a comfortable stay. This position requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Front Office, Night Audit, Accounting, or Hotel Operations.
Experience using hotel Property Management Systems.
Knowledge of hotel accounting principles and revenue reconciliation procedures.
Knowledge and practical experience with the IDS Next Hotel Management System.
Ability to work independently and handle responsibility during night shifts.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
