MECHANIC FITTER @ HSD-MELT
HSD is actively recruiting a skilled Mechanic Fitter on behalf of a prominent client within the manufacturing industry. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation of industrial machinery and involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems within the production facility located in the Dar es Salaam region. The successful candidate will work closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
The position requires a hands-on professional capable of diagnosing complex mechanical issues and performing precise adjustments to heavy machinery. Work locations include Kisemvule and Mbagala within Dar es Salaam. Candidates must be prepared to handle various mechanical components and contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to strict industrial safety standards. Key Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or related industrial field.
Proven expertise as a Mechanic Fitter with hands-on machinery experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic system operations and repairs.
Demonstrated ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment failures quickly.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with industrial regulations.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in a demanding manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and production teams.
