HSE SUPERVISOR @ HSD-MELT
HSD-MELT is seeking a dedicated HSE Supervisor to join our team in Tanzania. This professional will be responsible for overseeing all health, safety, and environmental protocols across our various project sites, ensuring full compliance with national regulations and international best practices. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, managing safety audits, and leading incident investigations to maintain a zero-harm workplace environment.
The successful candidate will also be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive HSE training programs for our workforce. You will work closely with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety into every phase of operations. This position requires a proactive individual capable of fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring that all employees and subcontractors adhere to established safety standards.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
Valid NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent OSHA certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE supervision within the construction or engineering sectors.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian Occupational Health and Safety laws and regulations.
Proven experience in conducting comprehensive risk assessments and site safety audits.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train diverse teams.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Proficiency in incident investigation techniques and reporting procedures.
Ability to develop and document HSE management systems and emergency response plans.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites across Tanzania.
