HEAD OF SALES – AUTOMOTIVE & SPARE PARTS @ HSD-MELT
The Head of Sales – Automotive & Spare Parts will lead and drive the sales and after-sales strategy for the company’s automotive and spare parts business. This role requires strategic leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and market expansion. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the Managing Director's vision while ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge in the Tanzanian automotive sector.
Key duties involve building, training, and developing high-performing sales and after-sales teams to maximize productivity and service excellence. You will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategy and collaborate with operations, logistics, and marketing departments for seamless service delivery. This position demands a results-driven individual with high emotional intelligence who can establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in automotive and spare parts.
Strong expertise in after-sales management and customer service excellence.
Proven leadership and team development skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
Strategic thinking and commercial acumen to navigate competitive markets.
