As General Manager (Logistics), you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the logistics division in Tanzania. This includes overseeing transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with local regulations.
The role involves managing a large workforce, optimizing supply chain processes through technology, and fostering relationships with key vendors and clients. You will be expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the highest standards of safety and operational performance across the organization.

Key Requirements
Extensive senior experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Leadership experience managing large organizational divisions.
Expertise in strategic operational planning and execution.
Proficiency in financial management and departmental budgeting.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian logistics and transport regulations.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams.
Experience in risk management and contingency planning.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Advanced degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Decisive leadership and expert problem-solving capabilities.
