FIELD SERVICE SPECIALIST @ HSD-MELT
Hsd-melt is seeking a dedicated Field Service Specialist on behalf of their client to oversee the installation, maintenance, and technical support of queue management systems in Zanzibar. This role is pivotal for ensuring seamless customer flow technology within various industries, requiring a blend of technical expertise and hands-on site management. The specialist will be tasked with conducting thorough site surveys to determine optimal hardware placement and software configuration to meet client-specific needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both proactive maintenance and reactive troubleshooting, resolving system issues both remotely and on-site. Beyond technical tasks, the role involves training end-users to maximize system utility and collaborating with internal technical teams to drive continuous product improvements. We are looking for a professional who can operate with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of service delivery and documentation within the Zanzibar region.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
2–3 years’ experience in field service or technical support role
Experience in queue management systems or similar technologies is an added advantage
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of software, hardware, and system integration
Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
Proven ability to conduct site surveys and recommend installation requirements
Proficiency in preparing technical service reports and documentation for site visits
Experience in providing user training and support to diverse client groups
