ELECTRICIAN (MANUFACTURING) @ HSD-MELT
HSD-Melt is looking for an experienced Electrician to manage electrical systems and components within our manufacturing plant in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. You will ensure that all electrical work meets the required safety standards and codes, providing a reliable power supply for all manufacturing operations.
Your duties will include diagnosing electrical problems, performing preventive maintenance, and working on PLC systems and industrial controls. As an Electrician in a manufacturing setting, you must be proactive in identifying potential hazards and ensuring the electrical infrastructure supports the facility's efficiency. This position requires technical proficiency, a focus on safety, and the ability to work effectively within a maintenance team.

Key Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related trade.
Valid electrician's license or professional certification.
Proven experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing plant.
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial controls.
Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes.
Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
Ability to work independently and handle emergency repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
