ELECTRICIAN @ HSD-MELT
HSD is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to support the manufacturing operations of our client in Dar es Salaam. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical components within the manufacturing plant are functioning safely and efficiently to support continuous production cycles.
Working out of the Kisemvule and Mbagala areas, the Electrician will respond to electrical faults, perform upgrades on existing systems, and ensure all work meets national electrical codes. This is a fast-paced environment that requires a dedicated professional with a sharp eye for detail and a strong background in industrial electrical systems. Key Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Relevant certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial wiring.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
Familiarity with PLC systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience in reading and executing electrical diagrams and technical schematics.
Strong adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards regarding electrical work.
Detail-oriented approach to maintaining electrical logs and maintenance records.
Effective communication skills to report technical status to supervisors.
Flexibility to work in different locations such as Kisemvule and Mbagala.
