HSD-Melt is seeking a visionary CIO (Chief Information Officer) to lead our IT department and drive digital transformation within our automotive operations in Tanzania. This executive role is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of IT systems that support business growth and operational efficiency. You will oversee all aspects of the IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability across the organization.
You will collaborate with other senior executives to align technology initiatives with the company's broader business goals. This involves evaluating emerging technologies, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing the IT budget. Your leadership will be crucial in modernizing our digital landscape and ensuring that our IT operations provide a competitive advantage in the automotive market.

Key Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive experience in IT leadership, preferably as a CIO or IT Director.
Proven experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
Expertise in digital transformation and implementing large-scale IT projects.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and data protection regulations.
Ability to align technology strategy with complex business objectives.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Experience in managing substantial IT budgets and vendor contracts.
Knowledge of ERP systems and business process automation.
Superior communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
