ADMINISTRATIVE / EQUIPMENT CONTROLLER @ HSD-MELT
HSD Human Tanzania, on behalf of its client, is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Administrative / Equipment Controller to join a reputable company within the vibrant Logistics & Transport industry. This pivotal role is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and offers a gross monthly salary of TZS 1.5 Million.
The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all visitors, clients, and stakeholders, effectively managing the reception area and coordinating incoming communications and appointments. Key responsibilities include handling all administrative correspondence, meticulous filing, and comprehensive document management. The role also involves receiving and verifying transporter invoices prior to submission to the Finance department, coordinating essential operational documentation such as truck cards and loading permits, and maintaining office stationery and administrative records. This position is crucial in supporting daily office operations, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and excellent customer service.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Clearing & Forwarding, Shipping & Port Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3
5 years of experience in an administrative or front office role
Experience in the transport, logistics, or clearing and forwarding industry is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
Excellent attention to detail for document verification and management
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong problem-solving skills in an operational context
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with record-keeping and data entry procedures
