ACCOUNTS MANAGER – MANUFACTURING @ HSD-MELT
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead our accounting operations within the manufacturing sector in Kisemvule, Mkuranga. This leadership role oversees daily financial activities, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring strict adherence to IAS and IFRS standards. You will be responsible for managing VAT and WHT filings, strengthening internal controls, and supervising the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The role is located in Kisemvule, Mkuranga, and requires a candidate who is willing to relocate to this area. As a key member of the finance team, you will drive process improvements and provide critical financial insights that support the company's manufacturing objectives. Key Requirements
At least 5 years of professional accounting experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
CPA (T) or equivalent professional accounting certification is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience with IAS and IFRS reporting standards.
Proven experience in managing VAT and WHT filings and general tax compliance.
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing an accounting team.
Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
Strong commitment to strengthening internal controls and streamlining accounting processes.
Willingness to relocate to Kisemvule, Mkuranga for the role.
Proficiency in advanced accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking capabilities.
