ACCOUNTS MANAGER @ HSD-MELT
HSD, on behalf of a leading client in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join their team in Kisemvule, Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial activities align with organizational goals and industry standards. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the company through rigorous oversight and strategic reporting. The role involves managing the accounting team and improving internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
Key duties include the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with IAS and IFRS standards, and managing tax-related filings such as VAT and WHT. Candidates must possess a CPA certification and have at least five years of experience within a manufacturing environment. The position requires a candidate who is fluent in both English and Swahili and is ready to relocate to the Kisemvule area. The offered salary for this position is TZS 5,000,000 Gross.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting operations within a manufacturing entity.
CPA Certification is a mandatory requirement.
Strong working knowledge of IAS and IFRS standards.
Extensive experience in VAT and WHT filing and tax compliance.
Proven leadership and team management skills to supervise an accounting team.
High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant accounting software.
Professional fluency in both English and Swahili.
Willingness and readiness to relocate when required.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
Ability to improve accounting processes and establish strong internal controls.
