ACCOUNTANT (TECH) @ HSD-MELT
HSD-Melt is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our technology-focused team in Tanzania. This role is pivotal in managing our financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing insightful financial data to support business decisions within the fast-paced tech environment. You will be responsible for end-to-end accounting processes, from transactional entries to month-end reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with the finance department to streamline processes and implement robust internal controls. We are looking for a professional who understands the unique challenges of the tech industry, including recurring revenue models and software cost capitalization. Key Requirements
CPA or ACCA qualification is mandatory
At least 3 years of experience in tech sector accounting
Proficiency in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo
Deep knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and TRA compliance
Advanced financial reporting and budgeting skills
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven experience with payroll management systems
Ability to handle multi-currency transactions
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
