ACCOUNTANT @ HSD-MELT
We are currently hiring an Accountant to support our finance department in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a degree in Accounting or Finance and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
The Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and that the company remains compliant with financial regulations. With 2 to 3 years of experience, you will play a key role in the daily financial operations and help maintain the financial health of the organization.

Key Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
2–3 years relevant accounting experience
Experience in financial records and reconciliations
Familiarity with local tax laws (e.g., VAT, PAYE)
Proficient in Quickbooks or similar software
High level of numerical accuracy
Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
Strong team collaboration skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles
Excellent communication skills for departmental reporting
