PROJECT MANAGER (PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER) @ HSD HUMAN RESOURCE SOLUTIONS
The Project Manager role is a critical position focused on the successful delivery of high-stakes construction projects, primarily based in Dar es Salaam with specific project sites in the Tabora region. You will be responsible for leading the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within the allocated budget. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating diverse teams and optimizing resources to meet rigorous technical and safety specifications.
Key duties include managing project financials, handling claims, and ensuring certifications are accurate and up-to-date. You will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project transparency. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, overseeing the procurement of materials, and enforcing strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control strategies across all active construction sites.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
A Master’s degree in Project Management or an MBA is considered a distinct advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically managing construction projects.
Direct experience in managing irrigation-related infrastructure projects.
Expertise in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial project tracking.
Proficiency in project scheduling software and resource allocation tools.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Advanced problem-solving abilities and strategic risk mitigation skills.
Demonstrated experience in client management and stakeholder engagement.
