ACCOUNTANT (TECH) @ HSD HUMAN RESOURCE SOLUTIONS
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join a fast-paced technology firm in Tanzania. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws. This role requires an individual who understands the financial dynamics of the tech industry, including software licensing, subscription models, and project-based accounting.
You will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with internal and external audits. The ideal candidate will provide insightful financial analysis to help the management team make informed business decisions. You will also be responsible for payroll processing and monitoring departmental budgets to ensure the company remains financially healthy.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Full professional qualification such as CPA (T) or ACCA.
At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
Strong knowledge of Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations.
Experience working within the technology or IT services sector.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
