HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER @ HRWORLD
The Human Resource and Administration Manager will lead the HR and administrative functions for a prominent NGO in Arusha. The primary objective is to cultivate a productive work environment by managing a skilled and motivated workforce. This role involves maintaining HR records, ensuring full compliance with Tanzanian labor laws, and implementing strategic HR plans and budgets. The manager will also oversee recruitment, induction, and performance management processes to align staff capabilities with organizational goals.
Beyond HR duties, the position includes significant administrative responsibilities such as managing procurement, vendor contracts, and office supplies. The successful candidate will handle employee welfare, health and safety standards, and disciplinary matters. They will also be responsible for talent management, succession planning, and conducting exit interviews. This role requires a professional who can navigate both the strategic and operational aspects of human resources and office administration in a non-governmental organization setting.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 4 years proven experience in Human Resource management
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and HR practices
Membership with a recognized Human Resource professional body
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, negotiation and report writing skills with proficiency in English and Kiswahili
Experience in managing and updating HRMIS and reporting systems
Proven ability to support performance management and employee development
Expertise in procurement processes including tendering and vendor management
Ability to handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution
