FACTORY MANAGER @ HRWORLD
HR World Limited, on behalf of their client, is seeking a Factory Manager to lead daily workshop operations within the Power and Energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire production lifecycle, ensuring that electrical panel fabrication, wiring, and assembly are completed efficiently and according to the highest quality standards. Key duties include planning and monitoring daily production activities, coordinating with engineering teams to interpret technical specifications, and optimizing workflows to improve overall efficiency.
In addition to operational oversight, the Factory Manager will be responsible for managing a technical team, including technicians and electricians. This involves assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a high-performance work culture. The role also emphasizes safety and quality control, requiring strict adherence to health and safety policies, regular risk assessments, and ensuring all panels meet IEC standards. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, control production costs, and maintain all machinery to ensure seamless factory operations.

Key Requirements
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within power, energy, or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical panel fabrication and LV distribution board (DB) assembly standards.
Knowledge of ABB and Schneider LV switchgear is highly advantageous.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best industrial practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools for electrical panel layout and schematics.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills for team management.
Ability to manage technicians and electricians effectively under pressure.
Experience in interpreting single-line diagrams (SLDs) and technical specifications.
Ability to oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and insulation resistance testing.
