A reputable Manufacturing Company in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within the facility. The primary responsibilities include the installation, meticulous inspection, precise repair, and ongoing maintenance of a wide array of electrical equipment, contributing directly to operational efficiency and safety. The Electrical Technician will be expected to respond promptly and effectively to machine breakdowns, minimizing disruption to production. Furthermore, the role involves performing routine preventive maintenance to foresee and mitigate potential issues, maintaining comprehensive maintenance records, and accurately reporting faults. Key Requirements
Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing industry.
Good troubleshooting and electrical maintenance skills.
Ability to install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical equipment.
Capability to respond promptly to machine breakdowns.
Experience in performing routine preventive maintenance.
Ability to maintain maintenance records and report faults.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be proactive, reliable, and self-motivated.
