As an ICT Officer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive day-to-day IT support to both internal staff and external clients. This multi-faceted role involves installing and maintaining hardware components like computers and printers, as well as managing complex networks including LAN/Wi-Fi systems, routers, and switches. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, ensuring that all software systems are up-to-date and secure with proper backups and antivirus tools.
In addition to standard IT tasks, you will support specialized client solutions such as CCTV installations, biometric time-attendance systems, and smart access control. The role requires a fix-it mindset and excellent customer service skills to provide training and guidance to users. You will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with technical teams and maintaining detailed service reports to ensure high-quality service delivery in Dar Es Salaam.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Networking.
Minimum 1–3 years experience in an IT support or technician role.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and basic server management.
Proficiency in networking including TCP/IP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
Experience with CCTV systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of access control, smart door locks, and biometric systems.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments effectively.
A valid driving license or the ability to travel frequently for client site visits.
