ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (ON SITE) 5 POSITIONS @ HR WORLD LIMITED
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client in the automotive industry, is seeking to recruit five experienced Electrical Engineers to work on-site in Tanga. These professionals will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring operational reliability, and supporting the efficient performance of large Caterpillar generator systems within a continuous 24/7 power generation environment. The role involves managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to guarantee system stability and efficiency at all times.
Key responsibilities include leading performance data analysis, monitoring generator alarms, and implementing root cause analysis to prevent failures. Engineers will also handle load control optimization and support both minor and major repair activities. Safety is a top priority, and the role requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure power generation setting, ensuring that all maintenance activities are executed safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Power/Energy Engineering.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience working with large Caterpillar generators.
Mandatory professional and proficient knowledge of Caterpillar large generator systems.
Proven experience in generator system operation, diagnosis, minor repairs, and major repairs.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Very good command of written and spoken English.
Very good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to drive reliability improvement initiatives and failure prevention strategies.
Experience in monitoring generator SMU and communicating maintenance requirements.
Ability to perform performance data analysis and provide condition monitoring inputs.
