ACCOUNTANT @ HOPE MICROCREDIT
Hope Microcredit is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee and manage the financial health of our microfinance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, preparing comprehensive monthly and annual reports, and managing both accounts payable and receivable. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards while supporting the company's growth in the financial services sector.
In addition to core accounting tasks, the Accountant will reconcile bank statements, monitor loan disbursements, and assist in budget preparation. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial institution.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and financial reporting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of microfinance operations or lending processes.
