IT SUPERVISOR @ HOOQANI IG
Hooqani IG is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Supervisor to oversee and manage its IT infrastructure in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the company's network, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role involves configuring and troubleshooting complex networking protocols, managing security devices from vendors like Cisco and Fortinet, and overseeing the installation of security systems such as CCTV. Beyond technical infrastructure, the IT Supervisor will provide critical support to employees, resolving issues related to Windows OS, email systems, printers, and shared drives. The role demands a professional who can maintain detailed IT documentation, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate effectively with third-party service providers. Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant IT experience in a supervisory or senior technical role.
Strong knowledge of Networking, LAN/WAN technologies, and Security Systems.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Mikrotik, or Ubiquiti devices.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and NAT.
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Technical expertise in CCTV systems and security device installation/maintenance.
Familiarity with backup systems and basic cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.
Proven ability to coordinate with external vendors and manage service providers effectively.
