VOLUNTEER FIELD PROJECT ASSISTANT @ HONEYGUIDE
Honeyguide Foundation is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Field Project Assistant for an 8-week placement based in the Randilen Wildlife Management Area near Tarangire National Park. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about conservation and community development, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant field projects such as the construction of new park entrance gates and the renovation of ranger posts. You will be working directly in a remote field environment, supporting the project team to ensure organizational success and operational efficiency.
As a Volunteer Field Project Assistant, you will act as the logistical backbone of the project, ensuring that construction, maintenance, and field support activities are well-documented and coordinated. While you will not be performing the manual construction work yourself, your attention to detail in financial tracking, material purchasing, and logistical coordination is vital to the project's progress. You must be comfortable with a rugged, outdoor lifestyle, including living in tents and working in a remote conservation area for the duration of the 8-week term.
