EXPORT DOCUMENTATION OFFICER (4 POSITIONS) @ HIRING SPECIAL
Hiring Special is seeking four highly organized and detail-oriented Export Documentation Officers to join our team in Dar es Salaam. These roles are critical for ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders. You will be responsible for preparing, processing, and managing all necessary export documentation, adhering to international trade regulations and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in logistics and international trade documentation, and fresh graduates with relevant academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply for junior roles. Successful candidates will be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.The Export Documentation Officer will work closely with various departments, including sales, operations, and finance, as well as external partners such as shipping companies and customs authorities. Your primary duties will include generating invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other essential shipping documents. You will also track shipments, resolve any documentation issues, and maintain accurate records to ensure audit compliance. This position demands a meticulous approach and a strong understanding of the complexities of global trade.
Key Requirements
Relevant Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
Proven work experience in export documentation or logistics.
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
Proficiency in preparing export documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
Familiarity with incoterms and trade finance instruments.
Problem-solving skills for resolving documentation discrepancies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
