QUALITY MANAGER @ HIRECREST
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to join a leading Textile Manufacturing company based in Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality management lifecycle, from establishing robust quality systems and standards to monitoring both in-process and final product quality. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring that all manufactured textiles meet rigorous industry benchmarks and customer expectations before dispatch. You will be tasked with approving final product releases, managing detailed quality documentation, and overseeing customer complaints to ensure continuous improvement.
Beyond internal quality control, the role demands strong coordination with external suppliers and processing units to ensure raw material integrity. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in textile processing, specifically within Jet Dyeing, Knitting, and Printing sectors. You will lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) initiatives, conduct thorough audits, and manage complex inspection and testing activities. This position offers a significant opportunity to drive operational excellence within a prominent manufacturing facility in Africa while utilizing advanced ERP tools like SAP to streamline quality workflows.

Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Textile Quality Management.
Strong technical exposure to textile processing, including Jet Dyeing, Knitting, and Printing.
Proven hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and product inspection protocols.
Mandatory proficiency and working knowledge of SAP software for manufacturing processes.
Educational background with a B.Tech in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology preferred.
Expertise in establishing and maintaining comprehensive textile quality systems and standards.
Demonstrated ability to handle Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and conduct audits.
Experience in managing customer complaints and maintaining detailed quality documentation.
Competency in supporting product development and managing sample approval processes.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and external processing units.
Ability to manage and approve final product releases before dispatch to clients.
Analytical mindset to monitor in-process and final product quality metrics.
