Hirecrest is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to world-class infrastructure projects in Tanzania. This role is integral to our ongoing efforts in developing robust logistics and transportation frameworks, focusing on the delivery of high-impact engineering solutions. You will be expected to oversee complex mechanical systems within industrial settings, ensuring that all project milestones are met with precision and technical excellence.
The successful candidate will be involved in EPC projects, conducting rigorous testing and commissioning procedures, and providing expert supervision of contractors on-site. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
5-7 years of specific experience in Dry Ports, ICDs, container terminals, or seaports
Age less than 45 years
Expertise in EPC projects and contractor supervision
Proficiency in cargo handling equipment and terminal operations
Strong knowledge of Fire protection and HVAC systems
Competence in pumping, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems
Knowledge of international standards: OSHA, ISO, NFPA, ASME, API, ASTM
Ability to ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards
