Hirecrest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager cum Accountant to join a leading construction firm based in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial health, ensuring accurate accounting records, and providing strategic financial insights to support construction project management. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial discipline and ensuring compliance across all projects.
Your core responsibilities will involve managing financial operations, executing detailed cost accounting, and ensuring that all statutory requirements are strictly followed. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting & Financial Management
Mandatory experience in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting techniques
Expertise in cash flow management and liquidity planning
Deep understanding of project costing and financial planning
Comprehensive knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance
Experience working with ERP systems or specialized accounting software
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
