ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER @ HIRECREST
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team in Tanzania, specifically operating within the Steel / SMS Plant sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance operations of the plant, ensuring that all machinery, including Induction Furnaces and Hot Rolling Mills, functions at peak efficiency. This role is pivotal in maintaining plant reliability, managing breakdown occurrences, and executing comprehensive shutdown planning to minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in managing electrical maintenance teams and a deep technical understanding of industrial power systems. You will be expected to maintain a culture of safety while ensuring that all electrical protocols are strictly followed. Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance
Hands-on expertise with Induction Furnace electrical systems
Proven experience in Hot Rolling Mill operations
Proficiency in Siemens PLC S7-300 & S7-400 systems
Deep technical knowledge of VFD Drives installation and commissioning
Comprehensive knowledge of Transformers, HT Panels, and protection systems
Ability to manage both preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules
Experience in effective shutdown planning and maintenance scheduling
Demonstrated capability in leading and supervising electrical maintenance teams
Strong commitment to workplace safety and plant reliability standards
