The Area Sales Manager will lead and mentor a team of Market Development Representatives, focusing on range selling and achieving ambitious market share targets. Key duties include conducting regular market visits, route rides, and sales reviews to ensure pricing compliance and top-tier merchandising. We are looking for a professional with strong negotiation skills and a hands-on approach to territory management who can foster long-term relationships with distributors and customers alike while providing accurate competitor intelligence.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Sales, specifically within the FMCG industry.
Proven track record of leading, coaching, and managing a sales team such as MDRs.
Strong negotiation and territory management skills to drive business growth.
Deep understanding of distributor operations and customer relationship management.
Ability to conduct route rides and frequent market visits for performance assessment.
Expertise in merchandising, pricing compliance, and in-market execution.
Proficiency in sales reporting, competitor intelligence gathering, and asset management.
Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in a field-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
