ACCOUNTANT/FINANCE CONTROLLER @ HINNO ENGINEERING LIMITED
Hinno Engineering Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant/Finance Controller to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounting and financial operations, ensuring that all financial activities align with organizational goals and regulatory standards. You will play a key part in monitoring project budgets, profitability, and cash flow, which are essential for our ongoing success in the engineering and construction sectors.
The ideal candidate will oversee invoicing, reconciliations, and supplier payments while strengthening internal financial controls to maintain high levels of accountability. You will also be tasked with ensuring full compliance with Tanzanian statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, WCF, NSSF, and Corporate Tax. By providing detailed financial analysis and supporting strategic planning through budgeting and forecasting, you will empower management to make informed decisions that drive the company's growth.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project-based environments
Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
Good understanding of Tanzanian tax and statutory compliance requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Proven ability to manage company accounting and financial operations
Strong analytical skills to support management decision-making
