Herocean Enterprises Tanzania Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Tax Assistant to join our Finance Department located at the New Ushirika Tower in Dar Es Salaam. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our tax compliance, ensuring accurate filings, and managing documentation related to local tax obligations. You will be responsible for staying updated with ever-evolving tax policies and providing the firm with valuable insights for tax optimization, as well as acting as a point of contact during tax audits and interactions with local authorities.
This position offers a competitive salary range of TZS 550,000 to TZS 650,000 per month, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. We are looking for a candidate who is ready to start as soon as possible and possesses a strong analytical mindset to support our broader financial objectives. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable handling diverse financial tasks and maintains high ethical standards in all reporting and compliance activities.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Finance, or a related field
Practical experience in Tanzanian taxation
Deep understanding of local tax laws and filing processes
Fluent in spoken and written English
Proficiency in relevant tax software and MS Office tools
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Keen attention to detail for documentation accuracy
Strong interpersonal skills for authority relations
Prior experience in multinational taxation is an added advantage
