HENRY WAMBURA is seeking a dedicated and professional Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that the company sources high-quality goods and services while maintaining optimal cost efficiency and operational standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring that all organizational procurement policies are strictly followed to support our business objectives.
As a Procurement Officer, you will engage in regular supplier evaluation, negotiation of terms, and contract management. This position requires a proactive individual who can monitor supply chain performance, identify potential risks, and implement effective cost-control measures. You will work closely with other departments to manage inventory levels and ensure that all procurement activities align with the company's growth strategy in the Tanga region.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2 years of professional procurement experience.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in cost reduction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel and Word.
High degree of professional integrity and ethics.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Understanding of procurement software and ERP systems.
Analytical mindset for evaluating supplier performance metrics.
Ability to manage complex purchase orders and delivery timelines.
