SWIMMING COORDINATOR @ HAVEN OF PEACE ACADEMY
The Swimming Coordinator is responsible for the operational, academic, and physical management of the school’s aquatics program and facilities. Key responsibilities include overseeing the K-12 Physical Education swimming curriculum, ensuring strict safety standards, managing a team of instructors and lifeguards, and coordinating competitive swimming activities. The role also demands hands-on management of facility maintenance, including filtration systems and pool repairs.
Furthermore, the Swimming Coordinator will spearhead capital facility improvement projects, including managing budgets and infrastructure upgrades. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in supervising aquatic staff and maintaining community facility schedules. A background in competitive coaching or athlete development is highly valued in this role, which serves a vibrant international school community.

Certified pool maintenance qualifications with filtration system expertise
Certified Lifeguard and Lifesaver
Certified Swimming Trainer/Instructor (STA, YMCA, or equivalent)
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Management or related field
Experience managing facility budgets and equipment maintenance cycles
Experience managing capital projects exceeding $40,000
Proven experience supervising lifeguards and coaches
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English
