PROFESSIONAL DRIVER - IRINGA BRANCH @ HAND IN HAND EASTERN AFRICA (TZ)
Hand in Hand Eastern Africa (TZ) is seeking a dedicated Professional Driver for its Iringa Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for staff and materials, ensuring that all journeys are conducted in compliance with traffic regulations and safety protocols. This role involves maintaining the vehicle's mechanical health, performing routine checks, and keeping accurate records of all trips and fuel consumption to support the organization's field operations effectively.
Beyond driving, the Professional Driver will act as a representative of the organization on the road, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and reliability. The role requires a candidate with strong mechanical knowledge to handle minor repairs and ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition for field operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned driver with at least five years of experience and a valid Class ABCE license to contribute to a meaningful cause within the Iringa region while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Requirements
Valid Class ABCE driving license is mandatory.
Proven mechanical skills for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience in a reputable organization.
Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations.
Thorough knowledge of Tanzanian traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Ability to perform daily vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate vehicle logs and mileage reports.
Excellent time management skills and punctuality for scheduled tasks.
Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili.
