HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER @ HALOTEL
Halotel is looking for a dedicated Human Resource Officer to manage various HR functions and support organizational goals. The role involves assisting in recruitment processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring statutory compliance with labor regulations. The successful candidate will handle HR-related payments, payroll support, and employee relations professionally, ensuring that company policies are enforced consistently across the organization. Furthermore, the Human Resource Officer will coordinate training and development programs and assist in performance management processes, including staff appraisals. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. The ideal candidate will be proactive in addressing employee concerns and providing practical HR solutions to maintain a productive work environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in HR operations or administration
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and statutory requirements
Understanding of payroll processes, including terminal benefits and mandatory deductions
Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle employee relations matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Experience working with HR systems or databases
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
