FTTH STAFF (03) @ HALOTEL
Halotel is expanding its fiber footprint in Lindi and requires three FTTH (Fiber to the Home) Staff members. These roles focus on the deployment and maintenance of fiber optic networks directly to residential and business premises. You will be responsible for fiber splicing, testing, and ensuring high-quality signal delivery to our fiber customers.
Candidates will perform site surveys and execute fiber installations according to technical specifications. This is a highly technical role that requires precision and a deep understanding of optical fiber technology. Key Requirements
Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecom, or IT.
At least 2 years experience in Telecoms.
Specific experience in FTTH deployment and maintenance.
Expertise in fiber optic splicing and jointing.
Ability to use OTDR and Power Meter for testing.
Knowledge of GPON/EPON technology standards.
Experience in residential fiber installations.
Ability to read and follow fiber network maps.
Strong customer service skills for client interactions.
Adherence to fiber handling safety standards.
