STEEL FIXER @ GTS GLOBAL GROUP
GTS Global Group is hiring Steel Fixers for our operations in Al Hilal, Qatar. As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete on construction sites. This is a permanent role requiring candidates with specialized experience in the Oil & Gas industry where reinforcement standards are exceptionally high.
Candidates must have a valid Qatar ID and be eligible for a company transfer. We are prioritizing applicants who can start work immediately to meet our project deadlines. Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Must have a transferable visa or be eligible for company transfer in Qatar.
Immediate availability to join the project team.
Ability to read and follow reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
Skilled in using hand and power tools to cut and bend rebar.
Experience in tying steel reinforcement bars with wire.
Understanding of structural spacing and concrete cover requirements.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces if required.
Strong work ethic and reliability in a professional construction setting.
