GTC International Logistics Co. Ltd is looking for a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the logistics sector. The successful candidate will be based at our offices located at Mtaa wa Sikukuu & Narung’ombe, opposite Tropical Hotel in Dar es Salaam. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with our corporate goals and expand our customer base in the region.
In this role, you will lead, train, and motivate the sales team while identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. Coordination with the operations department is essential to ensure smooth service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field of study.
3–5 years of professional experience in sales roles, specifically within the logistics or freight industry.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the experience of managing and motivating a sales team.
Exceptional negotiation and closing skills to secure high-value business contracts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel for reporting.
Proven ability to work under significant pressure and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and growth plans.
Strong analytical skills for preparing detailed sales reports, market trends, and performance forecasts.
A proactive approach to identifying new market segments and potential business opportunities.
Fluency in English and Swahili is highly preferred for effective local and international communication.
