ACCOUNTANT @ GS1 TANZANIA
GS1 Tanzania is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring full compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements. This role involves assisting in budget preparation, reconciling bank statements, and supporting both internal and external audit processes to maintain the organization's financial health. In addition to core financial tasks, the Accountant will manage the filing of accounting documents and perform various financial duties as assigned by management. The position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of integrity. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (added advantage).
Minimum of one (1) year relevant working experience including field attachment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and ability to work under minimum supervision.
Experience in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
Proven ability to manage accounts payable and receivable.
Experience in assisting with budget preparation and financial planning.
Familiarity with reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow.
