QUALITY MANAGER – FTTX PROJECTS @ GREEN TELECOM LIMITED
Green Telecom Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead end-to-end QA/QC activities for FTTX projects across Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards in aerial, underground, OSP, and ISP fiber infrastructure deployments. This role involves meticulous inspection, quality control management, and the maintenance of rigorous acceptance standards across all active project sites. The Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all project deliverables meet technical specifications and client requirements. You will lead a dedicated team of QC Engineers and Inspectors, coordinating directly with subcontractors to ensure consistent quality performance. This position requires frequent travel across Tanzania to monitor various project sites, requiring a professional who is well-versed in industry best practices and quality management systems.
Key Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of total telecom/fiber construction experience.
At least 4 years of specific experience in FTTX QA/QC roles.
Proficiency in OTDR testing, optical power testing, and fiber splicing validation.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
Excellent leadership and team management skills for overseeing diverse field teams.
Experience in managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and snag closure processes.
Ability to interpret complex as-built drawings and technical documentation.
Strong analytical skills for data-driven reporting and project auditing.
