AGRONOMIST (2 POSITIONS) @ GREEN GENESIS AFRICA LTD
Green Genesis Africa LTD is seeking two qualified and dedicated Agronomists to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing agricultural activities, optimizing crop yields, and implementing sustainable farming practices. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing field operations and ensuring the health and productivity of various crops. Work locations include our head office in Dar es Salaam, specifically the Ilala, CBD Ward - Kisutu area.
As an Agronomist, you will provide technical guidance on soil preparation, irrigation, and pest management. You will work closely with other agricultural professionals to develop and execute crop production plans that align with the company's goals. Experience in the field is highly valued, as you will be expected to conduct regular inspections and provide detailed reports on crop progress and environmental factors affecting yield.

Key Requirements
Possession of a Degree or Diploma in Agronomy
Proven experience in agricultural activities and field operations
Strong knowledge of soil science and nutrient management
Expertise in crop protection and pest control strategies
Ability to plan and execute seasonal crop production cycles
Proficiency in technical agricultural report writing
Familiarity with local farming practices and environmental conditions
Understanding of modern irrigation systems and water management
Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor environments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a farm setting
