Green Genesis Africa LTD is currently recruiting for the position of Afisa Mifugo (Animal Science Officer) to be based in Dar es Salaam. The ideal candidates will possess a Degree or Diploma in Animal Science and have practical experience in livestock activities. Your primary focus will be ensuring the health and productivity of the company's livestock through effective management and scientific practices. The role is based at our headquarters in Ilala, Kisutu.
Responsibilities include monitoring animal health, managing feeding programs, and overseeing the daily operations of livestock facilities. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of animal growth, health issues, and treatment protocols. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about animal welfare and capable of working effectively within a professional agricultural environment to improve animal production outcomes.

Key Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Animal Science from a recognized institution
Practical experience in livestock management and animal husbandry
In-depth knowledge of animal nutrition and feeding schedules
Ability to monitor and assess animal health and behavior
Skills in administering vaccines and basic veterinary treatments
Competency in record-keeping for livestock production and growth
Understanding of animal welfare regulations and compliance
Ability to diagnose and report common livestock diseases
Experience in maintaining farm and livestock facility hygiene
Strong communication skills for coordinating with farm staff
